Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the date on which the contract is concluded.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us at:

You must inform us by means of an unequivocal statement, for example a letter sent by post or an email, of your decision to withdraw from this contract. You may use the model cancellation form below, but its use is not mandatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse all payments received from you without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the day on which we receive notice of your withdrawal. We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no event will you incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.

If you requested that the services begin during the withdrawal period, you must pay us a reasonable amount corresponding to the proportion of the services already provided up to the time when you inform us of your exercise of the right of withdrawal, compared with the full scope of the services provided for in the contract.

Early expiry for services

For a service contract that requires payment, the right of withdrawal expires only when the service has been fully performed, provided that, before performance began, you expressly agreed that Werkstern may begin before the withdrawal period has expired and you also confirmed that you understand that your right of withdrawal expires once Werkstern has fully performed the contract.

Early expiry for digital content

For a contract requiring payment for digital content that is not supplied on a tangible medium, the right of withdrawal expires when performance begins, provided that you expressly agreed that Werkstern may begin performance before the withdrawal period has expired, confirmed your knowledge that your right of withdrawal expires when performance begins, and Werkstern provided you with the legally required contract confirmation on a durable medium.

This rule applies only where the actual subject matter of the contract is the supply of digital content, such as the immediate provision of an existing download file or software licence. Bespoke development and design services do not automatically constitute digital content for this purpose.

Request for early performance

Use this declaration for consumer orders where, at the customer's request, Werkstern is to begin web design, software development, consulting, photography, setup or other services before the fourteen-day withdrawal period has expired. The checkboxes must not be preselected.

[ ] I understand that, if I withdraw, I must pay for the services properly performed up to the time of withdrawal. The amount is generally calculated according to the proportion of services already performed compared with the agreed total scope.

Use only where the specific contract concerns the supply of digital content not provided on a tangible medium.
